Sculptures...

These sculptures are a representation of my transition towards this type of artwork. Two dimensional panels metaphorically hinting at gallery style canvases rectangularized and superimposed to form a complex three dimensional shape.
I conceptualized these pieces with very specific sizes and measurements, but I obtained the raw inspiration through deep meditation. After I had a basic idea, my goal was to fallow the sacred mathematics, such as the golden ratio, Metatron’s cube and the Fibonacci sequence, and see what happens.

Once I hung the pieces, the shadows became my favorite element. I also started to study some of the concepts employed in greater depth and realized the works are much more powerful than I gave myself credit for. I found out that such symbols of deep meaning have a very profound impact on their environment and the people around them. Just ask Pamela Groberman...

Composed of walnut veneer frames and baked enamel aluminum panels, each concept was produced in 3 sizes. These are the last four available pieces in the collection.

The Tree Of Life
Baked Enamel Panels on Aluminum on Walnut veneer frames
36" x 72" x 12"
$8000

The science of Kabbalah is unique in the way it talks about you and me, about all of us. It doesn’t deal with anything abstract, only with the way we are created and how we function at higher levels of existence. Kabbalists describe the structure of the upper worlds, how they descend and how our universe, with everything that’s in it, came into existence.
This is, if you will, the physics of the upper worlds, describing the laws and forces governing the universe on the spiritual realm.

This material gradually transforms the students, because when searching how to experience the spiritual world, one gradually adapts oneself to the spiritual laws.

The science of Kabbalah does not deal with life in this world. Instead, by studying this system we re-attain the level we possessed before we descended. During this ascent, the study of Kabbalah builds within the student a system equal to the spiritual system.
The Fibonacci Spiral
Baked Enamel Panels on Aluminum on Walnut veneer frames
54" x 30" x 8"
$3500
Leonardo Pisano Bigollo (c. 1170 – c. 1250) , Leonardo Fibonacci, or, most commonly, simply Fibonacci, was an Italian Mathematician, considered by some "the most talented western mathematician of the Middle Ages."

Fibonacci is best known to the modern world for the spreading of the Hindu-Arabic numbers system in Europe, primarily through the publication in the early 13th century of his Book of Calculation, the Liber Abaci; and for a number sequence named after him known as the Fibonacci numbers, which he did not discover but used as an example in the Liber Abaci. This sequence is behind the "Fibonacci Spiral" represented above. This can be observed in nature on seashells or pine cones and other plants amongst other things.
Metatron's Cube
36" x 40" x 6"
Baked Enamel Panels on aluminum on Walnut veneer frames
  $3500
The Metatron's Cube is a 2-dimensional figure created from 13 equal circles with lines from their centers extending out to the other 12 circles. Six circles are placed in a hexagonal pattern around a central circle, with six more extending out along the same radial lines.
This pattern shares resonance with the Flower of Life and the first three Platonic solids. It is a Geometry figure. The figure actually contains every one of the Platonic solids.

Raw Power Through Infantile Innocence
60" / 84"
Mixed Media on wood panel
$12000

Young children are capable of outbursts of immense energy. Without getting into the causes behind the loss of this sort of magick as we age, here is a fierce example of it. The panel also hints at the possibility of plowing through negativity and abrasiveness with raw positivity while maintaining a childlike innocence. Below is the original photo used as the reference. The photo shoot was coordinated for the painting specifically.

The image was originally rendered on a stretched canvas, but due to the inability to get the texture I envisioned prompted me to rip it off the frame and glue it to a wooden panel of the same size.

Kabbalists would tell you that there are essentially two things, the creator and the creature. The only goal of the creator is to create, and to fill this creature with enjoyment. Everything in existence is a result of this. There exits a science behind human interactions with the creator.

This work shows not only human interaction with the light, but a deep appreciation for the gift it constantly receives. The very quality of giving carried along with the light. The source intention.

The works were separated in three parts to symbolizes a detachment from the ego. The ego is the reason we are not more connected to the creator. Receiving the light not for yourself and your own personal satisfaction, but for the betterment and continuation of the divine process of creation. There exits a science behind human interactions with the creator, the light. The hand pictured above feels the light. Not only of the direct pleasure of receiving the light, but a quality of the light. The intention behind the giving of the Light by the creator.
Divine Flow Of Energy
48" x 48"
Mixed Media on Wood Panel
4000$

This Work simply illustrates the Divine flow of energy, or the flow of Divine energy. This time there is no human interaction.
The Will To Bestow
48" x 48"
Mixed media on wood panel
$4000

Kabbalists talk about the Creator's will to bestow. When a person receives anything, they feel pleasure from the event alone. In this Divine receiving one must consider the intention behind the gift. It is also said that the only two functions of the creator, are to create, and secondly fill its creatures with unbounded pleasure. The hand on the right can surely represent the creator.

This painting holds a second meaning: Good Business is good. There is a path of white
around the handshake representing a completely pure plane of existence for the business relationship. No chaos, no lies and no BS. This very exhibit was put together with these values, and the result shows this. If we can find a way to balance deep seeded spirituality into our business style, I personally believe we can take the financial world of its current state of misery.

Eyes Closed Eye Open #1 / #2 (diptych)
Each panel measures 36" / 36"
Mixed media on wood panel
$3000 Each or $5500 for both

My design inspiration is often pulled out in meditation. I created this work from start to finish inside the penthouse. After a great meditation, the concept seemed to be etched in my mind and I started painting it immediately. Sort of like paint by numbers, but the template is in my minds eye. All I gotta do is fallow the lines. This is how I like to create, and how I hope to continue to create. I actually make most of my important decisions in life in the same manner.
Receiving The Light
24" / 33"
Mixed media on aluminum panel on walnut veneer frame
$4000

As we bathe in this cacophonous urban confusion, it is so easy to loose contact with the Divine. What is not so easy, is to completely ignore all of this noise and remain quiet and calm without stepping away from it, and to allow ourselves to experience complete and total serenity, at anytime and without anything outside of ourselves. This image is a illustration of this very process.
